Grandma Sycamore Bread!

For all of you that live in Utah, this is something that you see on a daily basis at the grocery store. That is not the case here in Tennessee. The bread here is terrible, we have tried every kind imaginable. I have stopped people in the grocery store numerous times to ask them what kind of bread they buy. Nothing that we have tried has even compared to Grandma Sycamore's. So to my surprise, my wonderful in laws brought two loaves of this wonderful bread with them on the plane when they came to visit. We are so excited about it, I know that its kind of sad, but it's true. So if you ever move from Utah make sure you stock up before you leave, I promise you will miss it. Does anyone who has moved away have any opinions on this? Also tell me what kind of bread you buy.

Locks of Love!

The first cut. You can see how long it is on the front on the cape.
Hope and Ms. Honey

For all of you that know Hope, she can be super caring. She decided on Sunday that she wanted to donate her long hair to Locks of Love. She donated her hair a couple years ago too, which was also her idea. We are soooo proud of her. We love that she cares enough about children with illnesses that she is willing to help them however she can, even at the age of seven. I took her to a really cute salon called Sweet and Sassy. It is the cutest thing I have ever seen. They have miniature chairs with a flat screen tv at every station and they do manicures and pedicures. They do parties where you can dress up and walk the runway. They also have stuff to do karaoke and they have a little boutique shop as well. When her hair was done they sprayed glitter in it and put a little glitter star on her cheek. Hope is already planning her Birthday party and her Birthday is in May. I would also like to add that I payed under $20, so it was not expensive either. She ended up cutting off around 12 to 13 inches. She absolutely loves her new hair cut and I cannot get her to quit looking in the mirror or anything that makes a reflection. It is hilarious.

Hawk Walk!

This is her crazy, mixed up outfit for spirit week. She came up with this one all by herself.
All pooped out!

Hopes school does a big fundraiser every year called the Hawk Walk. What they do is run around a field for an hour and get people to sponsor them money for every lap they walk, run or jog. Then however much money you bring in, you get prizes. The kids love it. All week long was spirit week to get them pumped up. I went and watched and it turned out great.

I hope you DANCE!

Hope stretching.
Hope outside after dance class.
Here is Ellie getting her sticker.
I swear she does have hair, it is just pulled back into a ponytail.
Learning how to stretch.
It was Ellies and Hopes first day of dance class. This is Hopes 5th year of dance, so she knew what to expect but Ellie was sooo excited. She got in her outfit hours before it was time to go. When we got there, she just walked in and proceeded to tell all the little girls that her outfit had a skirt on it. She absolutely loved it. When I asked Hope how it was, she proceeds to tell me, oh it was fine.... it is just different. She kills me. She is taking ballet and tap this year instead of Jazz because it is not offered at this dance studio yet. (It is an established dance studio in a town named Dixon, but the one here in Fairview is brand new.) However, she wants to keep taking and we are excited to be a part of Miss Amy's Dance.

Picnic at Bowie Park!

We decided to go on a picnic Sunday afternoon in between the two sessions of conference. There is a wonderful park just a few miles from us called Bowie Park. They have the necessary playground equipment but there is also a big lake with ducks, trails for hiking, an amphitheater, camping spots etc. The girls absolutely love it. The weather here is great, right around 72 degrees all day long. So needless to say it was a perfect day for a Sunday Picnic.

Down on Broadway.

When my mom was here, we took her down on Broadway to show her the places where Tweeb has been able to sing and to just hang out. This is us just enjoying some ice cream at the ice cream parlor. Mya was busy checking out the horses outside that were pulling carriages and It looks like Ellie wanted to smile for the picture and lick her ice cream at the same time. Kids are so hilarious sometimes. This is the girls in front of the Wild Horse Saloon, also down on Broadway. I love this picture it just shows how much they were enjoying themselves. Hope is the only one who really understands and thinks it is neat to see where daddy plays. You should see her eyes light up when she realizes he has played at some pretty cool places.
