Happy New Year!!

All three girls made it!! Here they are drinking their sparkling grape juice. We started a new tradition a couple of years ago (when it seemed like it was more of hassle than anything to get together with friends and all the kids). We eat Chinese food, watch a movie with yummy snacks and then watch the ball drop. The girls did so good and by the time they all calmed down they did not go to sleep until 1:00. They slept in until almost 11:00 the next morning so it wasn't to bad.
Hope took a picture of Tweeb and I, I think we look more tired than the girls do.
We have lots of New Years revolutions and some of mine are...
1. To read the Book of Mormon
2. To lose 100 pounds (I am not kidding about this, I am going to post it on the side of my blog and everything. I figure if I know people are going to see it then I can stay motivated). Don't worry I am going to do it the good old fashioned way ( eating right, exercising and cutting out all pop).
3. To have more patience.

I think you guys are actually drinking wine, but that's okay. Seriously, you all are the cutest family. We do a lot of finger foods, too, and sparkling apple juice. It looks like champagne in our pictures. Danyette, you do NOT need to lose 100 pounds, so I hope you are kidding. But I do need to lose 30 pounds, so let's do it together! I have already exercised every day this year except for Sunday (that's 3 days, tee hee hee).

I will lose 100 pounds with you!! But honestly, you don't have it to lose!! Silly girl! Seriously, maybe you, Lisa and I should all do it together and keep each other motivated!! Yeah! Looks like you guys had a fun night. Miss ya!

I can't believe your girls all stayed awake! It must have been quite a party! Looks like fun - and I agree, there's no way you have 100 pounds to lose! I'm not setting any goals, so I can't fail! (pretty shallow huh!)

Cute picture of the girls, the picture of you two is cute too, you don't look as tired as you think you do!!! :) I think I stayed awake this year, at least I was awake for the ball to drop. (I may have had a nap sometime in the couple of hours before midnight). Happy New Year to you all and success on your resolutions, I am not making any.

I was so excited when you told me you were doing the same old thing that you always do for New Year's Eve. I would love to get a tradition going for that holiday. And I am saying the exact same thing everyone else has already said to you about the 100 pounds, YOU DON'T HAVE 100 POUNDS TO LOOSE!!! Most importantly, I want you to be HAPPY & healthy so if you think loosing 100 pounds will make you happier, then more power to ya & I think everyone could loose a little weight to be healthier. I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!!

You are way nicer than I am....my kids still have no idea New Year's exists. lol I think I might let Aidan try to stay up next year. I can barely make it myself. lol
I am doing a weight loss competition right now too! What are your plans. Good luck. It's gonna suck, but we can do it!

Okay 1st of all I am with everyone else in saying you do not have to loose 100 lbs.
2nd of all I, too want to loose weight and exercise everyday, so if you are wanting to put up tips and ideas, I am in!!
3rd of all. We listened to Tweebs song on myspace and we like it. Keep it up!! We are rooting for you!

Just wanted to respond to your comment! That is so cool that y'all are going to be your own branch! We kept hearing rumors of that when we were there, but it finally happened now! y'all will probably get called on a lot! :) I know they are so glad to have you there! Hope ya'll are still enjoying Fairview! My hubby really misses it there. Well, we all do, but he does the most. We hope to visit soon! I'll let you know when we do!
